I had an awesome weekend behind me... I rode 105 km at the Hill2Hill race... I am quite proud of myself to be able to finish... it was soooo long and so hard. I have never though that I was going to do silly things like that. 105km!!! 5 hours on my bike... oh oh and my bumm is hunderd percent fine.. lol... thanks for my ladies specific San Marco saddle... of course it is pink!

The race went well... I had a bad start as always... but it was ok, because i had time to catch up... oh not to SAMANTHA OOSTHUYSEN, because she was just flying... I mean really... I didn’t even see her back... I don’t even know what her kit looks like... She won by miles...

I was riding with Tania Raats for quite a bit... she droped me on the flats and I caught up on the hills... we played that until Robyn Adendorf passed us like she just started to ride... I finish 4th after Tania, which is perfectly good for me... I am not a marathon rider and I have no intention to become one...

The race was amazing… I didn’t know what to expect from a race like that… but I had so much fun during the ride… I loved it. It was a mixture of everything. The single tracks were technical and fun (I wasn’t great though) the district roads were fast, but felt good to ride on… lots of hills… steep ones and long ones… It was such a nice course. I cannot believe I have never ridden there… the views were unbelievable… I loved it… I hope to get to ride there more…

I have to say thanks to all the organizers and ROAG… they had a wonderful event and it was such a nice experience. Next year I will probably do it again. I had too much fun not to… oh and I might win the Jeep Wrangler next year…

And Well Done for everybody who finished the Sunday Tribune Hill2Hill race… it is a really tough event and I was truly amazed how so many people just did it…
