I am hungry and tired...

My training goes well, I am enjoying it so much. I have my awesome training plan and I am so excited about it. I am loving my life!

And I am so lucky with my Garmin... I don't think I could ride without it. I don't know how people even live without Garmin. Lots of people asking me about my cycling computer which is a Garmin Edge 705... and I couldn't say a bad word about it. I understand that lots of cycling computer gives you all the data that you need, but none of them will give you a full route plan and a cycling buddy like Garmin. I had posted some blogs about my "being lost in the middle of nowhere" situations and Garmin took me home... wow I was the happiest girl in the world.

And all the technical functions and extra screens and options... the biggest reason I love my Garmin...as a girl... It makes me the most confident rider ever... it doesn't matter if i am in Hungary, South Africa or Austria... I just go and ride where ever... because I know that my Garmin takes me home.

I have a new program that I can use for my Garmin… it makes me even more motivated… I can download the data and it gives me so much information I don’t even know what to do with it…Check out the picture of the program.. this is the file of the last race I have done. It was the Lynford Classic at Ixopo. Looks cool isn't it?

Ixopo is about an hour from PMB and such a beautiful drive… luckily I didn’t have to drive so I could just admire the view. I wish I have taken some photos, because I will never be able to describe the view.

The race was amazingly well organized but ROAG must have something to do with too. I had no problems what so ever. I love that I just pre register and on the day they just have to scan my chip. No queues, no problems.

I was a little bit nervous about the race because I had to do a 4 hour road ride on Saturday. I am not really good with long rides… I think they are boring… but I do what I have to do… So yeah I was quite tired…

The course was fun and I enjoyed the climbs… I am getting stronger so the climbs are not as painful as a couple month ago. The single tracks are fun as always but I don’t know why I wasn’t too confident… it might be because I had new tires on, it might be because the single tracks were too loose… or I just have terrible technical skills. I don’t want to think about it…

Anyway I won the race… which is good. Shale Exelby came 2nd and Melanie Palframan was the 3rd.

Since the race I am so tired and hungry all the time… I just want to sleep… and eat… and sleep… and eat… lol…
